CURRENTLY FUNDING - ONYX PATH ADJACENT

From The Bodhana Group, the Branch Riders tabletop roleplaying game is currently in a campaign on Kickstarter. The Bodhana Group advocates for and utilizes tabletop gaming - especially Pugmire! -  as a directed therapeutic and clinical practice that can benefit personal growth as well as enhance social and educational services to individuals and families.  Gaming has usefulness in education, skill building and therapeutic applications.

Branch Riders is an RPG that came out of years of design and development - with the help of Eddy and some of the Onyx Path team - to be a fun and compelling game first and foremost, but with the right therapeutic and skill-building tools "under the hood" for trained instructors to utilize beyond that.

If you're interested in a multi-genre action-packed easy-to-learn and -teach fun game with different approaches to problem solving and a variety of GM tools and player challenges, come check it out!

On Kickstarter Now! They've funded but are looking to unlock Stretch Goals and make the game as amazing as it can be!

As if coordinating a three-day online convention wasn't exhausting enough, Onyx Path's Travis Legge as rolled right into launching his latest Kickstarter! Bizarre Kingdoms is a setting expansion for Odysseys & Overlords, though the lands and creatures introduced herein could be easily adapted to any Savage Worlds Fantasy setting. In this book you'll find four new kingdoms your adventurers can explore or even hail from! This book requires the use of the Savage Worldscore rules and the SWADE Fantasy Companion.

Travis creates great stuff! Support him on Kickstarter <here>

May 2024 Update
6 months ago – Thu, May 23, 2024 at 11:26:36 AM

Hello Good Doggos!

We're coming a week earlier this month. I think I'll have our updates on the second last Thursday each month from now on.

Last month, I shared a video from the 2023 Onyx Path online game convention, and it's now time to get ready for the 2024 version!

Next month, on June 14-16, they'll be streaming panels on their twitch channel (twitch.tv/theonyxpath). Here's the panel schedule

The big info panels are usually the Opening Ceremonies on Friday,  the What's Up With Onyx Path? panel on Saturday, and the Realms of Pugmire panel on Sunday! It's a full weekend of awesomeness!

REWARDS STILL PENDING

Our main book is currently in the first steps of Art Direction - the Art Notes Prep stage, which is the hand-off between production and art, when art notes are collected from developers and the Art Director works to line up with artists schedules. The jumpstart is in final development, while the two adventures have completed redlines and are now in final draft phase! Bit by bit, the pieces are moving forward.

CURRENTLY FUNDING

At the Gates is a high fantasy tabletop roleplaying game about burgeoning heroes struggling to survive, fighting for what’s right, exploring dangerous places, and saving the world.

Magic fuels all parts of Gaia, from fields of wheat to the people who sow them. Magic is rooted in the living nature of the world: the elements, the mind, the body, and the soul. The Void stands outside the world, and represents all the esoteric concepts such as order, entropy, and energy. Where the Void meets the world, Outlands grow. These places are warped by the intermingling of two opposite magics, and everything that lives there is tainted and dangerous. Hidden inside these Outlands are gates into the Void, standing as literal tears in reality.

You play as heroes who have chosen to buck the status quo and try to change the course of things. Your characters may attempt to change the course of the war, delve into the secrets of daemons and the Void, fight against tyranny to protect what they love in the world, fight to restore balance to Gaia, or all the above.

You can stand at the gates and hold back the tide, changing the course of history. Will you heed the call?

April 2024 Update
7 months ago – Thu, Apr 25, 2024 at 06:29:13 AM

Greetings Good Doggos,

It's the final Thursday of the month, and that means it's time for our regular monthly update. Before I get into our regular update, I've got one video to share. I'll talk more about it next month, but the 2024 Onyx Path Virtual Game Convention is coming up in about 6 weeks (June 14-16). Onyx Path has recently posted a video from last year's convention, an Actual Play of the Realms of Pugmire run by Eddy Webb! Check it out!

And now on to our regular monthly update!

REWARDS STILL PENDING

As we noted last month, Adventure I and II now have titles - Rumble in Riverwall and The Ghost Town - and I'll likely swap in the titles with next month's update. Maybe. If I remember.

4-4-24 Barker T-Shirt Bonanza
8 months ago – Thu, Apr 04, 2024 at 04:47:54 AM

Hello Good Doggos,

A quick update at the start of the month because I've got a Stretch Goal reward for you!

Remember this during our Kickstarter campaign?

Well, we unlocked that (along with a bunch of other fun things) and now it's ready for you!

If you're ready to Be A Good Dog, check out the design and various shirt options here: Realms of Pugmire  Backer Shirt <LINK>

AVAILABLE TO ORDER NOW - FOR A LIMITED TIME!

So, this Stretch Goal during the Crowdfunding campaign was for a special available-for-a-limited-time  Realms of Pugmire  Backer Shirt <LINK>. I listed it as a Barker T-Shirt, but really there are more than just T-shirt options there (and more colors as well!)

If you click over to Onyx Path's REDBUBBLE T-shirt Shop using this link <Pugmire Shirt> you will see the backer shirts, which will be available for a LIMITED TIME ONLY! You have ONE WEEK to order a shirt with this design if you'd like to announce you're a barker!

If you scroll down a bit, you'll see other options - including hoodies and other styles - you can change the style, color, and size to make sure it works for you! Changing the style and size may change the cost, so be aware. Make sure you review your selection before you process payment to ensure you've got the correct images, style, color, and size.

One last time: This shirt will be available for a LIMITED TIME ONLY - please act quickly if you're interested!

I'll be back later in the month for our regular monthly summary, now with one more reward moved from Pending to Delivered!

March 2024 Update - Final Day for the Curious Cats, Monthly Update
8 months ago – Wed, Mar 20, 2024 at 08:05:07 AM

Greetings Good Doggos,

Our regular monthly update for March has a bit of information about our two adventures that were added as bonus rewards thanks to our Stretch Goal achievements! First up, they've got NAMES!

Rumble in Riverwall and The Ghost Town

Eddy says: Now that the system for Realms of Pugmire has survived much playtesting and we’ve built a couple of supplements on it, it’s time to loop back around and start working on the stretch goal adventures. These short stories will be written to each stand alone, or tie into other Pugmire adventures!

And speaking of expansions and supplements for The Realms of Pugmire, we're in the final days for our Curious Cats of Mau crowdfunding campaign!

Trust your instincts. Reward loyalty. Respect an honest duel.
And always, always pounce on the minions of the Unseen.

The Age of Man is long over. Cats – uplifted from our clever feline companions to use tools and language – now rule the world. In the Monarchies of Mau, cats study relics the Old Ones left behind to create new wonders, expand their understanding of the world, and combat the monsters and minions of the Unseen that threaten catkind. Curious cats explore ruins and set sail on the Acid Sea, or participate in games of intrigue against other houses, the dogs of Pugmire, and other rival species.

The world is full of mysteries and dangers, which excellent cats are eager to face.

Some highlights of The Curious Cats of Mau include:

  • An evocative and family-friendly setting, full of interesting story hooks for players to explore and expand upon.
  • Full character creation rules featuring a cat’s house and new callings.
  • Expanded details about each of the monarchies, including interesting places to go and cats to meet, plus information on the sinister House Smilodon.
  • Updated spells, masterworks, and enemies.
  • Three exciting adventures for Guides to use at their tables.
Curious Cats of Mau is a setting and rules expansion for the Realms of Pugmire, and requires the Realms of Pugmire core rules to play.

If you want to know more about this project, you can check out <this update> which links to several Actual Play sessions, fun fiction, and more!

You can also listen to Episode 298 and Episode 299 of the Onyx Pathcast to hear developers and writers talk about working on the book!

If you want a breakdown of the pledge tiers and Add On options, you can read <this update> which outlines all of your reward options and extras!

Backers also have access to the Complete Draft Manuscript - you can read the entire book before any pledges are processed or payments collected! But you must Pledge Now!

With your help, we can possibly unlock another Stretch Goal and add another reward for all backers who have supported this project!

REWARDS STILL PENDING

You can see Adventure I and II (which we now know as Rumble in Riverwall and The Ghost Town) are in first draft phase!

REWARDS DISTRIBUTED TO BACKERS

If you need to review your information or pledge status, you can return to your survey by clicking the link in your survey email or requesting your survey link under "Lost your survey?" on our BackerKit project page at https://realms-of-pugmire.backerkit.com
