I've got a big update for you today. We're going to start our regular monthly summary updates, but we've also got the Pledge Manager survey coming next week, so lots of instructions and reminders coming your way in this post. I'll try and keep it organized.

BACKER SURVEYS
Over the firstweek of April, you’ll receive an email from us with a special link to your BackerKit survey. It’s important to respond to your survey as quickly as you can since we need this information to fulfill your rewards.
You don’t need to create a BackerKit account to fill out your survey (although that may help keep things organized if you've got multiple projects going.) When you receive the email with the survey, click the survey invitation link to respond. Answer the questions about your reward preferences, provide shipping information, and purchase add-on items if you like. You don’t have access to this survey link yet, but it will be available nextweek via email!
The e-mail will look something like this:
After you respond to your survey, you can go back later and change your responses at any time before we close the surveys and get our final counts, and that won't happen until the books are being printed and we're preparing to ship.
If you need to review your information or pledge status, you can return to your survey by clicking the link in your survey email or requesting your survey link under "Lost your survey?" on our BackerKit project page at https://realms-of-pugmire.backerkit.com

Switch Your Pledge Level
If you've pledged to a reward tier that includes physical rewards, you can enter your shipping country at this stage. As noted during our campaign, we haven't set international shipping costs yet - those will be calculated and added in when we're preparing to ship the book. That won't be for a long time, though, and there will be plenty of opportunity - and notice - for you to make changes.
If you click on your Pledge Level, you will see a list of all items included in your Pledge Rewards, and also have the option to switch your Pledge Level, in case you've decided to get the deluxe edition instead of the regular hardcover version for example.
Once you've confirmed that your Pledge Level is correct and where you want it to be, you can GETSTARTED with your BackerKit Pledge Manager Survey.
Once we've got a fair response to our survey and collected a reasonable amount of info, I'll be working on fulfilling rewards that are available now - like the PDFs of the titles included in our Add On section (for example, Dog,Cat, Bird, and Rodent digital bundles, and some of the Stretch Goals...). THAT will be coming around mid-April.
So, in summary:

Get Started on your survey
Confirm your Pledge Level (or SWITCH your Pledge Level if you want to change it)
Confirm and Select Any Add On options
Confirm Your Shipping Information (if needed)

I will post an update in another week or two as I begin outlining the delivery of our first Add On rewards (the existing PDF titles, as noted above) and beginning distribution of those PDF rewards.
DRAFT MANUSCRIPT
Looking in the example pledge list above, you can see a listing for the Kickstarter Draft Manuscript. In your BackerKit digital rewards page, you will have access to the compiled draft manuscript. It won't be different from the one that was shared during the campaign - it'll just be all gathered together in one big file. The Draft Manuscript link may not be active when you first login to your BackerKit survey, but I'll throw the switch and it'll send you a notice next week after all of the invitations have gone out.
I will talk about how to access your BackerKit digital rewards links in an update coming mid-April, when I send out the first wave of available rewards.
MONTHLY PROJECT CHECK IN
And with the surveys going out next week and the wave of existing titles coming to backers in a few weeks, it's time to monitor the monthly progress on our Kickstarter rewards from this campaign. There's still a long road ahead and a lot of work to be done on these projects, but we're going to have these regular updates at the end of each month to keep track of where we sit on our rewards.
MONTHLY UPDATES
We're still in the earliest stages of this post-campaign, where projects make incremental movements along the progress path. A lot of months will be pretty similar, just a quick note to let you know that the Onyx Path team is still working on it. Any time we have a new reward or something of interest to share, I'll include that as well.
At the end of each month, I'll include a summary of our rewards and their current status (they'll either be delivered or marked as still pending, possibly with additional details if I know more). I'll also list any relevant Update posts, in case you want to go back and check into something.
In addition to notes on our reward status, each month I'll also include the BackerKit links and my How To PDF notes, as well as contact information in case you need to get in touch.
PROJECT REWARDS STILL PENDING
This is our monthly project progress character sheet. We'll be filling in the dots as the Onyx Path team moves the project through the stages of development and production. As noted, we're in the very earliest stages of this project. Our main reward, the Realms of Pugmire book, is in editing, which means the latest manuscript draft has been reviewed and approved by all of the bosses and developers and Good Dogs of Pugmire and has undergone one more round of development to ensure the book is written in a consistent voice throughout, and is now with the editing team to correct any spelling or grammar issues and make sure everything's as clear as can be. A lot of this work is guided by your Feedback Form submissions during the campaign, so thanks for that!
The Realms of Pugmire book will eventually come to us in four forms - first, the PDF, which will be sent out as an Advance PDF to all backers when it's ready and allow us one last chance to review and offer suggestions and corrections before it's finalized. Once that's done, work will begin on the finalizing the Print-On-Demand version of the PDF which will be released through DriveThruRPG via their printing partners, and of course the two big rewards, the standard and deluxe hardcover books which will come when all of the dots are filled in across the top row. It'll take some time, but we'll get to see that slowly happen month to month.
In terms of our Stretch Goals, these books are in the earliest stages. We just brought them from concept into project status with our support during the campaign, so now the developers have to take our Stretch Goals and turn them into outlines and start assigning writers and creating contracts. Then the writers begin writing drafts and the developers help guide with feedback (redlines) until a final draft is reached, when the developers bring everything together to turn it into one big manuscript.
The team has already jumped on the Jumpstart and moved that along quickly, already catching up to our main book. The other Stretch Goals from the campaign are still being sorted out. I expect that the two Adventure PDFs may get combined into a single release containing both parts of the duology, but that'll get decided as it's outlined and assigned.
In addition to the Realms of Pugmire-specific rewards listed here, there are also the other rewards that'll be coming in a few weeks. Those are already existing projects, complete and ready to go, so I'll just be setting up distribution for them and providing more information in two weeks' time. So don't worry about those - they haven't been forgotten, they're just a few weeks away.

What a finish! With just an hour to go, we unlocked another Stretch Goal! That means everyone who's supported this campaign gets another bonus reward added to their reward list!
ACHIEVED! - At $65,000 in Funding – FETCH QUEST CARD GAME – As a bonus, all backers will receive the Print & Play PDF versions of the Fetch Quest card game, along with the Heroes of Pugmire Booster PDF. In addition, backers will also receive a code to order print versions of both at a discounted cost.
That brings our Stretch Goal total up to a doggy dozen! Great work!
Over the past 30 days, more than 1,050 backers came together and helped this project achieve more than 215% of it's base funding target, enabling Pugsteady and the Onyx Path crew to add additional rewards (like the jumpstart and two new adventures) plus some cool add ons (like the screen and a DICE SET!) as well as other Onyx Path staples like a backer T-shirt and digital wallpapers.
But the most important thing...
REALMS OF PUGMIRE
Working together, we funded the development and printing of two different versions of this book - the "standard" edition, which will go out to many backers and be available at retail, as well as the limited edition deluxe version! I've mentioned it before, but the original Pugmire RPG was the first Onyx Path campaign I joined as a backer just over 8 years ago, and I'm really happy to join with all of you to bring forth this new edition and evolution of Eddy's vision for this game.
And, as noted above, we unlocked a doggy dozen Stretch Goals in the process. I know that I had our Stretch Goal review just yesterday, but let's look at this list again... with today's new entry!
NEW ADD ONS
These Add Ons were made available during the campaign, and will also be available in the Pledge Manager once it's up and running.
A three-panel Guide Reference Screen with charts and information for running a Realms of Pugmire game will be created and offered as an Add On to the hardcover reward tiers for +$25
A special Realms of Pugmire Dice Set will be created and offered as an Add On to the hardcover reward tiers for +$20. Additional options, such as a Realms of Pugmire Dice Set with Dice Bag for +$25 as well as a Realms of PumgireCollapsible Dice Tray for +$25 will also be made available.
MILESTONE MARKERS
I'll send out update notifications when these items are added to Redbubble or made available for digital download in our Pledge Manager when that's up and running.
ONLINE GAMING TOOLS
These online tools will automatically be added to the rewards list of all backers.
ADDITONAL NEW CONTENT
These bonus rewards will automatically be added to the rewards list for all backers receiving the Realms of Pugmire PDF as part of their rewards list.

So a huge congratulations to Eddy and the creative team on this project, and to all of the backers who've joined in to make this possible. I'm happy about the goals we hit and rewards we introduced, but I'm also always amazed and excited about having more than a thousand backers join in during this campaign! Crossing that 1,000 Backer Count is a big achievement, and one we never take for granted!

Welcome to the final hours of this campaign! It's been a pretty fun ride, and after 30 days we find ourselves with more than 1000 backers and over 200% funded!
The best part, though, is just that we've funded this new edition of Realms of Pugmire!
As I post this, we've just got a handful of hours left until the end. So our last chance to review all of these little bits before the conclusion.
February 23 - Final Day Checklist & What Comes Next(That's Today!)
Whether you're a proud puppy just starting out or a hardened hound with years of experience, these are all good items to review to make sure we all end up where we want to be. But, you can consider it about 98.7% finished. Making the manuscript available for review before the campaign ends ensures that everyone knows exactly what our goal is - making this book - and are on board with our aims for this project. As noted, international shipping charges will be calculated later and charged in the BackerKit Pledge Manager. We'll have exact shipping costs once the book is in production and we know the specifications, but we do expect it to be expensive. See our estimates on the front pate. If you're an international backer, you can pledge at the PRACTICALPOINTER tier and upgrade to the FINEFETTLEorCOLLECTOR COMPANION tier once the shipping costs are known before we lockdown orders.

1. Choose Your Pledge Tier Wisely
Choosing the correct Reward Tier for your desired rewards, and then filling in any "gaps" with add-ons, ensures that you'll be claiming all of your desired rewards as a thank you for supporting this project and bringing this world to life.
Remember, your PLEDGE AMOUNT is equal to your REWARD TIER + ADD ONS only - Any International Shipping costs will be collected at a later date. You will also be able to select Add On options in the Pledge Manager after the campaign, but remember that only funds added during the campaign count towards Stretch Goal funding targets.
SO: Ensure that you've selected the Reward Tier you want, and select any Add On options you wish to include. AND - make sure that you are comfortable with the Pledge amount, in terms of it covering everything you want and theaffordabilityof the pledge at this moment!
I'm going to speak against my own self interest for a moment, and repeat myself one last time - though 2023 has been a bit better than the past three years, the world is still unpredictable and some futures are a little less certain. Ensure that your circumstances enable to afford this pledge at this moment - Kickstarter will begin processing payments after the campaign ends and neither Onyx Path nor I have any involvement in that process. If you are unsure of your financial situation but don't want to miss out, please pledge for a tier you can afford now and know that you will be able to upgrade to open pledge levels in our post-campaign Pledge Manager for some time before the book is completed.

2. PAYMENT AND CONTACT INFORMATION
Once you're comfortable with your pledge, please ensure that the payment and contact information in your kickstarter account is up to date and correct. Making sure your e-mail is entered correctly and your credit card isn't expired will speed up the next step process. (I have learned from experience!)
WHAT COMES NEXT?
3. AFTER THE CAMPAIGN ENDS
First, we celebrate. Kickstarter will send out a virtual "Hooray!" email confirming the campaign ended with final totals. We'll give socially-distanced high fives and digital fist bumps in the comments section.
Then, the Kickstarter payment process begins. Over the next week, kickstarter will begin charging your payment methods for the total amount you've pledged.
If there is an issue with your payment method (expired credit card or incorrect number or pre-paid Visa awaiting funds, for example), Kickstarter will keep trying to process payment during this time.
Once this step is done, which will likely be by the second week of March 2023, Kickstarter will confirm everything with Onyx Path and I can begin to set up the project with the BackerKit Pledge Manager and link it to the Kickstarter data.
BackerKit's Pledge Manager is a robust fulfillment integration and pledge management program that will allow us to work with all of the data and distribute the rewards to you. It will take me a few weeks to set the project up. Once I've got it all entered and built, the team from BackerKit will review to ensure I didn't mess anything up too badly, and then I'll make any changes they've suggested and we can move on to the Survey stage.
4. BACKERKIT SURVEYS
Once BackerKit says I'm good to go, I will send out a survey to all backers. This is why confirming your e-mail is important!
The BackerKit survey is both a verb and a noun - it will collect data for the analysis of some aspect of a group (enabling Onyx Path to set print runs, prioritize new projects, and fine-tune future kickstarters), as well as providing a general review or summary of the reward tier you've chosen, confirm all of the rewards associated with that reward tier, and confirm your total pledge amount.
I expect Surveys to go out by theend of March2023.
During the Survey period, you can choose to increase your reward tier or add on additional options. If you've gone back to work or found an alternate income source and decide it's time to trade up to the hardcover version of the books or include another add-on, you can do so at this time. Note, you will not be able to reduce your reward tier selection, only increase.
If there was an issue with payment to Kickstarter, you should also be able to address that at this point in the process.
Note that you'll be able to upgrade your pledge tier for quite some time - until we're getting ready to print the book itself and have figured out International shipping costs. So don't feel pressure to have it all figured out right away - we'll make sure there's plenty of time to get it all sorted before the books go out.
Similarly, if you have the hardcover book as one of your rewards, the survey will ask you to confirm your shipping address, even though it'll be some time before we ship out the final product. Do not worry about moving before shipping begins - you will be able to update BackerKit right up until the point that we begin fulfilling the final book. We will send out a notice prior to lock down so you can update any information.
I'll also use the Survey to confirm some details for the premium reward tiers.
5. REWARD DISTRIBUTION
This is a long process, but I will send out regular updates (usually at the end of the month) to keep you up to speed on Onyx Path's progress. There will be strings of updates that are just "still working on it," but I will share new artwork or information when I can.
Eventually, we will have a completed PDF of Realmsof Pugmire. Onyx Path will take some time to distribute, review, and compile any errata or corrections that need to be made. When they've made any necessary changes, they'll make an updated version of the PDF available in your DriveThruRPG digital library and then begin creating print-ready files for the Print-on-Demand and the hardcover versions.
It's yet another long road ahead, likely full of twists and turns and unexpected challenges, but one that we wouldn't be undertaking if not for your faith and support.

We're in the final HOURS countdown for this Kickstarter campaign. Realmsof Pugmire is finished as of Thursday February23rd at 2:00 PM EST. There's still a little time to dig up new backers who haven't yet joined, but that window is closing rapidly. With that in mind, I've been touching on some of the basics for this campaign over this last week, making sure that everyone has all of the information they need to support the project in the way that works best for them.

As noted, international shipping charges will be calculated later and charged in the BackerKit Pledge Manager. We'll have exact shipping costs once the book is in production and we know the specifications, but we do expect it to be expensive. See our estimates on the front pate. Choose Wisely
Choosing the correct Reward Tier for your desired rewards, and then filling in any "gaps" with add-ons, ensures that you'll be claiming all of your desired rewards as a thank you for supporting this project and bringing this world to life.
Remember, your PLEDGE AMOUNT is equal to your REWARD TIER + ADD ONS only - Any International Shipping costs will be collected at a later date. You will also be able to select Add On options in the Pledge Manager after the campaign, but remember that only funds added during the campaign count towards Stretch Goal funding targets.
Also to note, only those who participate during the campaign are able to have Stretch Goal rewards added automatically to their rewards lists. If you're waiting to pre-order at a later time, it's better to pledge to the Munificent Mutt tier now and then simply upgrade your pledge later to include these bonus rewards.

Over the past 29 days, we've been hunting down these unseen Stretch Goals and bringing them to the light. We've already unlocked ELEVEN Stretch Goal targets, which is fantastic!
Within these Stretch Goals are some milestone markers that allow us to celebrate how the campaign grew as well as opening up an additional Add On option, and some fun new supplements that we've helped Eddy unlock. Let's review and see what we've accomplished so far...
New Add On: GUIDE'S REFERENCE SCREEN
A three-panel Guide Reference Screen with charts and information for running a Realms of Pugmire game will be created and offered as an Add On to the hardcover reward tiers for +$25.
New Add On: DICE SET and DICE TRAY
A special Realms of Pugmire Dice Set will be created and offered as an Add On to the hardcover reward tiers for +$20. Additional options, such as a Realms of Pugmire Dice Set with Dice Bag for +$25 as well as a Realms of PumgireCollapsible Dice Tray for +$25 will also be made available.
This one is pretty exciting for me! As well as good dogs, we're going to be guinea pigs, as we test out a new partnership for Onyx Path! This is the first time we've had dice available as an Add On during a campaign I've been helping run, so I'm really hopeful that we'll be able to do many more in the future!
MILESTONE MARKERS
Helping us maintain our pace during the regular "Kickstarter Plateau," these milestone markers are great celebratory moments allowing us to keep our focus, and fun rewards going out to all who supported this project during the Kickstarter campaign.
A Realms of Pugmire-themed Kickstarter Backer shirt will be hosted on Onyx Path’s Redbubble store for a limited time. Only backers will be notified when the shirt becomes available for purchase.

The jumpstart reward is one we unlocked early and with great enthusiasm, and Eddy's already started working on it! I'm always a fan of the jumpstart, especially when it includes ready-made characters and the rules basics and is ready to go at a moment's notice. While we've mostly been playing online for the past few years, the new games we've jumped into over the past decade are usually spur-of-the-moment ideas and these jumpstarts make it easy to pick up and play.
But why stop there? Eleven Stretch Goals is great... but what about an even DOZEN? We've got just over a full day to go... so maybe we could squeeze in one more Stretch Goal?
At $65,000 in Funding – FETCH QUEST CARD GAME – As a bonus, all backers will receive the Print & Play PDF versions of the Fetch Quest card game, along with the Heroes of Pugmire Booster PDF. In addition, backers will also receive a code to order print versions of both at a discounted cost.

As much fun as it is reading about these doggos and imagining this amazing world, we do have to bring this campaign to an end. We've achieved our primary goal of funding the book, but there are these two possible Stretch Goal rewards that are still almost within grasp! I know this last funding target may seem really daunting and unlikely, but it wouldn't be a STRETCH goals if we didn't have to really STRETCH to reach it! We're SO CLOSE to hitting target number 12 and I'm confident we'll unlock that before the end, but that last one may take a lot of work. It's possible, but won't be easy, so let's keep at it!

As we finish up these final days of the campaign, we find ourselves in need of a few more Stretch Goals to set up. This first one is something that the Onyx Path crew have been working on forever, but we're very lucky dogs because they've managed to finalize the details with hours to spare!
At $58,500 in Funding – NEW ADD ON: DICE SET - A special Realms of Pugmire Dice Set will be created and offered as an Add On to the hardcover reward tiers for +$20. Additional options, such as a Realms of Pugmire Dice Set with Dice Bag for +$25 as well as a Realms of PumgireCollapsible Dice Tray for +$25 will also be made available.

There will be additional shipping charges added to your order to cover the additional delivery costs.
